Case-mate Fuel Lite

Ok.Here is good news for iphone users. Are you one of the users?

If you’re an iPhone user, you’re probably more than a little addicted to the device. But that addiction comes at a price: dwindling battery life. And there’s nothing worse than being stuck somewhere (an airport) without access to a plug or laptop to charge your phone (and general entertainment device).

Which is why the Case-mate Fuel Lite is so handy. It’s a compact case with a built-in rechargeable battery that will give an extra bit of juice when you need it most.

Charge the battery up via USB, and when you need it, slip your iPhone into the case and turn it on. On thye back of the case is the power button and indicator lights to show you how much battery is left. As soon as you switch it on, it begins recharging your iPhone.

The manufacturers’ specs say it will boost your iPhone’s battery life by up to 1.5 times. This means you get an extra 100 hours’ standby, up to five extra hours of music playback, 2.5 extra hours of video, and two hours extra of talk time and internet use.

It’s also a bit cheaper than some of the other cases out there – €49 – and it doubles as a protective case for your iPhone too.

LEGO FOR GADGET LOVER.

LEGO's modular NXT robotics line is already a hit with more serious hobbyist, and now the company is taking aim at gadget-loving youngsters with cameras, MP3 players, boomblox and more, made from LEGO bricks. I got to take a look at the colorful camera and MP3 player, both pictured above and below. All LEGO had ready to show is a prototype of each, though, as you can see by the empty MP3 player.

The camera isn't packing all that strong of a punch with a 1.5" LCD screen, 3 MP sensor and 128 MB of internal memory, but that should be more than enough for a kid to play around with. It hooks up to your computer with a USB cord, and has a lithium battery inside. The MP3 player has 2 GB of memory by comparison.

Both are set to come out in the Fall for $50 and $40, respectively, alongside a boombox, alarm clock, walkie-takie, and even a stop-animation video camera.

UPDATE: The gallery has been fixed. Get up close and personal with those bricky gadgets.

* Opaque back, slip resistant finish–less likely to smudge
* Power button on the top left instead of right
* Headphone jack on the bottom right instead of top left
* New side button on bottom right side, possibly a camera button
* Well, in any case, all will be revealed at the WWDC that’s coming up in a few days.
